Marty offers an extensive range of beers on tap, wines, champagnes and sparkling, delicious cocktails and soft drinks. You can turn it into a wedding caravan bar, booze on wheels during your corporate events and product launch, or simply a mood booster during your private events with your family and friends.

What is Shakers on Wheels?

Shaker on Wheels is a mobile bar for hire in Melbourne and wider Victoria. Our mixologists and bartenders provide cocktail catering services across the whole state, no matter where. Instead of the usual food offers during events, we focused on serving beverages, with a true love for cocktails. Through years of experience, creators of Shakers on Wheels give cocktail enthusiasts a fusion of various tastes from across the globe.

Shakers on Wheels is an all-in-one mobile bar. We got you all covered. We will provide everything, from the cocktail station, the glassware for your event, the bartenders, and everything you could think of. All you have to do is call us for any of your events that ask for some amazing drinks, which is almost all types. Thus, on the day of your event, all you have to do is drink, relax and enjoy the show.

"Marty" the caravan bar carries fancy delicious cocktails, top-shelf spirits, fine wines, as well as Australian & European beers on tap for you. We offer different packages that will fit your theme, your crowd, and of course, your budget. Aside from these options, "Marty" also gives the best services before, during, and after your event or party.

Open Van

This is the ultimate package. It gives you unlimited access to “Marty” , our vintage caravan bar. You got all options here: cocktails, beers, spirits, wines, mocktails, etc. Perfect for your birthday, wedding day, or even on a casual Saturday catch up with your friends.

You will be charged per head, per hour on this package so you still have the freedom to not go beyond your budget. Of course, this also has all the initial inclusions for every package. Can be tailored to your needs. Enquire today.

Pre-Paid (Pre-ordered)

With this package we bring the stock for you (the ones you picked from our lists) and simply charge you for what you pre-ordered. (plus the caravan hire fee) Simply request our drinks lists and let us know what you’d like us to bring on the event day. Can be tailored to your needs. 

BYO

This is the budget friendly package which allow you to supply your favourite beverages and have us serving them … you way! We will guide and assist you with quantities and varieties once we have all the information needed. It includes the basic list of what “Marty” offers – personalised menu, full equipment and glassware, RSA certified professional bartenders, and everything else delivered at your event’s place.

Our base charges for this package:

  • 3 hour hire fee: $1,200+GST
  • $150+GST per extra hour

Every package comes with these staples, customers can add and personalise the list based on their preferences:

  • “Marty” Fully equipped vintage caravan,
  • 2 x RSA certified professional bartenders,
  • Bar equipment and tools,
  • 2 x taps beer system and chiller,
  • Double fridge,
  • Hot Water for cleaning,
  • Lighting,
  • Eskies and ice buckets,
  • Glassware for up to 50 guests. (cocktails, spirits, wines and sparkling)
  • Leads for power or generator. (if required)
  • Personalised menu, and
  • Mobile Liquor License
  •  Basic styling/decoration (flowers, bar stools, etc.)
  • Set up & pack down
  • Free travel cost up to 50Kms. 

If you want additional offers and services here are the rates:

  • Extra staff (depends on guests numbers and service requirements. $59/hour.
  • Additional travel fee over 100Km. $100/hour.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we do hold a liquor license, meaning we can supply alcohol in unlicensed
venues, ticketed events and private properties. However, any other permits, licenses
and permissions required through relevant councils or the venue, are to be obtained
by the client.

We offer different packages based on your preference. We have bar service, cocktail service and table service. We also offer tower and walls that can be a show stopper during your event.

Price will vary depending on the style of service required, package, beverages
served and amount of guests.

We travel Victoria wide. Depending on location we may charge for a travel fee, and
some circumstances, a pre-event site visit.

Of course, you can. Power is required for the use of all equipment inside the caravan.
We can supply a generator if required.

We can make any cocktails but do have a great cocktail from which we suggest you
pick yours.

Set up takes about 1h 30min but can take more depending on events. Pack down
usually about an hour.

Aside from our vintage caravan bar and various event packages, we also offer Cocktail Mixing Masterclass. We also now have corporate gifts and party favours that you can customise to fit your event.

Fantastic company! Takes the stress out of any event. We had them for my sisters hens. All set up and pack down done by them. 3 amazing cocktails and unlimited for 3 hours. Beautiful garnishes. They have all there own glassware etc. friendly and professional staff, so reasonably priced also. HIGHLY recommend we will def use them again!
